PS / Polystyrene
Polystyrene is a transparent material with high rigidity and hardness. It has a low toughness and is therefore sensitive to breakage when subjected to impact stress. It has a water-bright transparency and forms a brilliant surface. The material can be glued without any problems.
Polystyrene has no plasticisers or other additives and is dimensionally stable, making it a good alternative for use on plastic packaging. It is available in various modified film variants and is relatively easy to die-cut.
